National Authority CWC

The chemicals controlled by the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) are subject to notification and are divided into three lists (Schedule 1, Schedule 2 and Schedule 3) depending on their relevance to chemical weapons. These can be found in the Annex to the Chemical Control Ordinance. In addition to the scheduled chemicals, the CWC also controls certain organic chemicals - so-called Discrete Organic Chemicals (DOC) - and compounds containing at least one of the elements phosphorus, sulphur or fluorine (PSF).
