Spiez Laboratory is organising the 10th UNSGM Designated Laboratories Workshop from 9 to 11 September 2025 in Spiez. This workshop marks the 10th anniversary of the UNSGM Designated Laboratories Workshop series.

Germany and Switzerland practise six challenging emergency scenarios involving chemical, radioactive and biological hazards.

Martin Pfister, Head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), took the opportunity to visit the Spiez Laboratory on 10 November 2025 and get to know the employees and the various specialist areas personally.
